Air Freight Consolidator

A company that ships goods by air on behalf of a client, but does not own or operate its own airplanes. An air freight consolidator receives the goods from the client and passes them on to a third party that operates aircraft. It issues house air waybills to indicate to customers that their goods have been received and have been passed on for freight by air. They often include tracking numbers so that the customer can check the status of the shipment.
