Note: This phrase is taken from act 1 scene 2 of Shakespeare's play `The Tempest' (1611), which begins with a storm at sea and is a tale of magic and transformation: `Full fathom five thy father lies; Of his bones are coral made: Those are pearls that were his eyes: Nothing of him that doth fade, But doth suffer a sea-change Into something rich and strange.'
