Turiisk

an urban-type settlement and the administrative center of Turiisk Raion, Volyn’ Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Turiisk is situated on the Tur’ia River, a tributary of the Pripiat’. The settlement has a railroad station on the Kovel’-L’vov line. Turiisk also has a cannery, a mixed-feed plant, and a factory for the production of household goods.
