Ozersk

(until 1946, Darkehmen), a city and administrative center of Ozersk Raion, Kaliningrad Oblast, RSFSR. It is situated on the Angrapa River (Pregolia River basin), 32 km southeast of the Cherniakhovsk railroad station on the Nesterov-Kaliningrad line and 125 km southeast of Kaliningrad. Ozersk has a cheese plant and a technicum for mechanized agriculture.
