Adrenergic Nerve Fibers

fibers of the sympathetic nervous system through which excitation is transmitted from the nerve bundle (ganglion) to the innervated working organ by mediators (mainly noradrenaline). Adrenergic nerve fibers constitute a large portion of the postganglionic sympathetic nerves.
