Szekszárd

a city in southern Hungary. Administrative center of the megye (county) of Tolna. Population, 27,000 (1973). The center of a wine-growing region, Szekszárd has food-processing enterprises and enterprises for the production of agricultural machinery, measuring instruments, and leather goods.
