Q0036100 (kwĭn′zē, -sē), Josiah 1744-1775. American Revolutionary patriot who traveled to England to present the colonists' grievances (1774-1775). His son Josiah (1772-1864) served as a US representative from Massachusetts (1805-1813), as mayor of Boston (1823-1829), and as president of Harvard University (1829-1845).
