Quite Virtual Envelopes

Quite Virtual Envelopes

A way of budgeting for an individual or small organization in which money for different purposes is placed in different accounts. For example, a person may keep two checking accounts, one for monthly bills and one for discretionary spending. While the monies are not physically placed in separate envelopes, they are still segregated so as to encourage financial responsibility. See also: Spoken for, Not spoken for.
