Séfrou

a city in central Morocco, in the province of Fes. Population, 28,600(1971). Séfrou is the trade and craft center of an agricultural region in the mountains of the Middle Atlas. Rugs are made there, and cattle and wool are traded. The city has a vegetable-oil mill, a sawmill, a textile factory, and a metal-working plant.
