Wadi Al-arabah

Wadi Al-arabah

 

a graben valley in western Asia, on the border between Jordan and Israel. It connects the Ghor depression (south of the Dead Sea) to the depression of the Gulf of Aqaba on the Red Sea. It is about 125 km long and 10-25 km wide at the bottom. There is desert landscape with occasional rivers. Part of the Elat-Ascalon pipeline crosses the depression.
