Sebuku

an open bay of the Celebes Sea off the east coast of Kalimantan. Sebuku Bay is shallow in the coastal zone and has many islands; depths at the entrance are approximately 2.000 m. The Sebuku, Sembakung, and Sesajap rivers empty into Sebuku Bay. Tides are semidiurnal and irregular-semidiurnal, with heights of 3.3 m. The port of Tarakan is on Tarakan Island.
