Popasnaia

a city (since 1938) in Voroshilovgrad Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, under the jurisdiction of the Pervomaisk city soviet. Railroad junction with lines to Debal’tsevo, Kupiansk, and Nikitovka. Population, 30,000 (1974). Popasnaia has railroad car maintenance facilities, plants producing metal products and glass, a milk plant, and a garment factory.
