Special Features:Historic Frankfort Mineral Springs, site of a nationally known health spa during the 1800s, is located in the park. The area once attracted thousands of visitors who believed in the healing powers of the mineral water. The springs can currently be viewed from a scenic self-guiding trail that passes through the area. Park also includes Wildflower Reserve, a 314-acre area that contains one of the most diverse stands of wildflowers in western Pennsylvania. More than 500 species of plants have been identified.
