split-vertical photography

split-vertical photography

Photographs taken simultaneously by two cameras mounted at an angle from the vertical, one tilted to the left and one to the right, to obtain a small side overlap. Cameras are mounted with one at a tilt of 6° to the left of the flight path and the other 6° to the right. The value of the overlap can be up to 10°, and the figure of 6° is not sacrosanct. See split pair.
