Pakaraima

a mountain range in the central Guyana Highlands, on Brazil’s border with Venezuela and Guyana. Elevations reach 2,772 m at Mount Roraima. Composed primarily of sandstones deposited over ancient metamorphic rocks, the Pakaraima Mountains have steep slopes and plateau-like peaks that are almost devoid of vegetation.
