Andreiushkin, Pakhomii Ivanovich

 

Born May 15 (27), 1865, at the stanitsa of Medvedkovskaia, Kuban’; died May 8 (20), 1887. Russian Populist revolutionary. Student at the University of St. Petersburg from 1886.

In late 1886, Andreiushkin joined the terrorist wing of People’s Will and, together with A. 1. Ul’ianov and others, prepared an attempt on the life of Alexander III. He was arrested on Mar. 1, 1887, and executed on May 8 in the Schlisselburg fortress.
