Here the signature is the minimum when the target is viewed either head-on or tail-on and it is maximum when it is viewed from beam position.The shape and size of the radar blip received from an aircraft or flying object. The radar signature is a function of target size and its range, aspect, geometric shape, materials, and surface texture. The most vital element of the radar signature is the target aspect. The radar signature will be maximum when the target aircraft is flying at right angles to the radar and least when it is flying head- or tail-on.
