palmar aponeurosis[′päm·ər ‚ap·ə·nə′rōs·əs] (anatomy) Bundles of fibrous connective tissue which radiate from the tendons of the deep fascia of the forearm toward the proximal ends of the fingers. palmar aponeurosis
pal·mar ap·o·neu·ro·sis [TA] the thickened, central portion of the deep palmar fascia; it radiates toward the bases of the fingers from an apical attachment to the transverse carpal ligament, usually as a continuation of the tendon of the palmaris longus muscle.
