Palm Print Identification

the study of the structure of cutaneous designs of the palmar surface of the hand for identification purposes. In criminalistics it is used along with dactyloscopy (fingerprinting) in the identification of individuals. Four groups of relief formations are differentiated on the palm: papillary lines, flexion folds of skin, wrinkles, and pores. In identifying a palm print, the configuration, dimensions, and designs on the plam are examined.
