Slag Concrete

 

a lightweight concrete, in which the aggregate consists of metallurgical or furnace slag that has been crushed, dispersed, and purified of contaminants. It is used in the erection of cast-in-place wall structures (mainly building walls, ceilings, and floors) and in the prefabricated manufacture of concrete, stone, blocks, and panels.
