Teploenergetika

(Thermal Power Engineering), a monthly scientific and technical journal; an organ of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Council of Ministers of the USSR, and the Central Board of the Scientific and Technical Society of Power Engineering and the Electrotechnical Industry. The journal has been published in Moscow since 1954. Teploenergetika is the leading journal in the field of high-power engineering. It publishes material on thermal and nuclear power plants, steam generators, and steam and gas turbines. The journal deals with questions of automation and the use of computer technology in thermal power engineering and with issues of the theory of combustion, water preparation, district heat supply, and heat and mass exchange. It is published in English in Great Britain and the USA under the title Thermal Engineering. Circulation, 10,100 (1976).
