Pamiatniki Diplomaticheskikh Snoshenii Drevnei Rossii s Derzhavami Inostrannymi

(Monuments of the Diplomatic Relations of Old Russia With Foreign Powers), a collection of documents on the foreign policy of the Russian state from the 15th to the 17th century. These documents, published in ten volumes in St. Petersburg between 1851 and 1871, pertain to Russia’s relations with the Holy Roman Empire, the papal court, and several Italian states (Venice, Tuscany). The series included archival materials from the Po-sol’skii Prikaz (foreign office). The Pamiatniki constitute a valuable source for the study of Russian foreign policy.
