Pampangans

an ethnic group of the Philippines. They number about 1 million (1970, estimate). They live in the west of the island of Luzon and speak a language of the Indonesian group of the Malayo-Polynesian language family. Their religion is Catholicism. Their chief occupation is land cultivation and the processing of agricultural crops.
