释义 | Robinson, ClaudeRobinson, Claude (Everett)(1900–61) public opinion analyst; born in Portland, Ore. He pioneered scientific public opinion research. After publishing an influential book on the 1928 presidential election (1932), he developed new scientific sampling techniques for the Gallup Poll (1936–38) and his own Princeton, New Jersey-based Opinion Research Corporation (1938–60). He published important studies of public attitudes and industry in the 1940s and 1950s. |
