panda car A popular term for a small to mid-sized police car in the UK, so named because the original cars were painted with large panels of black (or light blue) and white. In modern police cars the large panel design has been retained, but the standard colours are white, lemon yellow and French blue on the sides and diagonals of orange and yellow on the rear. Ambulances in the UK also have the “panda” panel design with a base of white or pale yellow and panels of fluorescent yellow and emerald green and, like the police cars, diagonals of orange and yellow on the rear.panda car Related to panda car: fiatWords related to panda carnoun a police cruiserRelated Words- cruiser
