Radio-Tape Recorder-Phonograph

Radio-Tape Recorder-Phonograph

(in Russian, magnitoradiola), an electronic device for everyday use that combines a radio receiver, tape recorder, and phonograph into a single unit. The advantage of such a combination results from the use of a common audio amplifier, AC rectifier, and speakers in all modes of operation, which simplifies the unit and reduces its cost. Soviet industry has been producing the Romantika-103 and Kharkov-63 units since the early 1970’s.
