Bulajić, Veljko

Born Mar. 22, 1928. Yugoslav director. He has worked in films since 1952.

Bulajić directed the artistic films Unscheduled Train (1960), War (1960), Boiling City (1961), and Look Into the Center of the Sun (1966) and the documentary Skoplje 1963 (1963). Among Bulajić’s best works are Kozara (1962) and Battle on the Neretva (1969), devoted to the resistance movement in Yugoslavia. Several of his films have been awarded prizes at international film festivals in Venice and the national festival in Pula.
