 physical and personality changes that may occur following a head injury. They may include amnesia, headache, dizziness, difficulty concentrating, restlessness, depression, irritability, sweating, heart palpitations, and insomnia.

postconcussional syndrome

A spectrum of symptoms occurring after what appears to be a relatively minor head injury with brief loss of consciousness and little or no immediate memory loss (retrograde or post-traumatic amnesia). The syndrome includes headache, depression, loss of concentration and the power of attention, memory loss, anxiety, dizziness and low tolerance to noise. These symptoms may persist for a year or longer.
