First weekend in JuneHeld at Putnam Memorial State Park, reenactors portray the British invasion of Connecticut in 1777. Other activities include encampments of both British and American soldiers, artillery demonstrations, infantry drills, and crafts of the Revolutionary period. Spectators are kept a safe distance away, but they are encouraged to observe and ask questions.
