(Trade Abroad), a monthly bulletin of the Ministry of Trade of the USSR, published in Moscow since 1956. It contains information on various countries’ progressive practices in the field of trade and mass food service. The bulletin also deals with such subjects as the organization and operation of shops, department stores, wholesale centers, and warehouses, as well as the production of semifinished goods and new types of containers and packaging. Considerable space is devoted to news of specialized exhibits and trade fairs. The bulletin includes a section on foreign food recipes and one on fashions. Circulation, 14,000 (as of Jan. 1, 1976).
