American Academy of Nursing

(AAN) a working body of nursing leaders and scholars in education, practice, administration, and research. Fellows are elected to membership in the Academy based on their contributions to the nursing profession and health care. The Academy identifies emerging nursing and health care issues, promotes their scholarly exploration, challenges the status quo, and proposes creative solutions.
