Location:25 miles northwest of Klamath Falls, Oregon, along Highway 140.
Facilities:Canoe trail, viewing sites.
Activities:Canoeing, fishing, hunting.
Special Features:Bald eagle and osprey nest nearby and can sometimes be seen fishing in refuge waters. A boat is essential to visit this refuge.
Habitats: 15,000 acres of mostly freshwater marsh and open water.
Access: Open during daylight hours.
Wild life: Canada goose, ducks, white pelicans, grebes, herons, egrets, bald eagle, osprey, beavers, muskrats, river otters, and two endangered species, lost river sucker and short nosed sucker.
