Special Features:The state's largest undeveloped area is located within thestate's largest privately owned forest (Pioneer Forest) in a remotearea of the Ozarks. In addition to its 27 miles of trails, the areaincludes nearly 15 miles of frontage on the Current River, consideredby many to be the finest float stream in the state. The area alsoincludes two designated natural areas with impressive old-growth trees,some as old as 400 years.
