Seinfeld syncope

Syncope that occurs in a patient with cerebrovascular disease triggered by laughter—first described in the index patient who at the time was watching the American sitcom Seinfeld. The resulting reaction was similar to that evoked by a Valsalva manoeuvre, with decreased O2 flow to the brain
