Two or more runways at the same airport whose centerlines are parallel. The parallel runways are designated as L (left), R (right), or C (center). Where parallel noninstrument runways are intended for simultaneous operation, the minimum distance between their centerlines should be as indicated in Table I. However, where the parallel instrument runways are intended for simultaneous use, their minimum distances should be as in Table II.
