Subject-Course System of Instruction

 

an educational system that enables students to pass course credit tests and examinations on subjects taught currently and later in the academic year. The sequence of the subjects is retained and is based on their continuity and interrelationship.

In the USSR, the subject-course system of instruction has been adopted in higher correspondence education. Insofar as possible, the principles of the course system of instruction used in day and evening departments of higher educational institutions are retained. Some foreign educational institutions use a system of instruction related to the subject-course system of instruction.
