Bazavluk

(Buzuluk), a river in western Dnepropetrovsk Oblast, UkrSSR; right tributary of the lower Dnieper (drains into the Kakhovka Reservoir). Its length is 157 km, and its basin area is 4,200 sq km. The Bazavluk is shallow and in summer dries up for a considerable length. The city of Ordzhonikidze is located on the river.
