Location:Off SR 12, on County Road 1641, 13 miles north of Bristol.
Facilities:30 full-facility campsites, a yurt, primitive and youth/group campingareas, 3 picnic pavilions, restrooms, playground, nature trails,interpretive exhibits.
Activities:Camping, boating (no boat access from park due to bluffs),hiking, wildlife viewing, guided tours of historic home.
Special Features:Park is named for a rare species of Torreya tree that only grows on thebluffs along the Apalachicola River. Other rare plants found in thepark include the Florida yew tree and the US champion winged elm, andforests of hardwood trees provide the best display of fall color foundin Florida. Gregory House, a fully-furnished plantation home built in1849, is also on park grounds.
