Terskol

a glacier in the Caucasus, on the southeastern slopes of Mount Elbrus. The glacier has lately been receding (1965–78). It is 7.02 km long and covers an area of 7.56 sq km. The end of the Terskol glacier lies at an elevation of 2,925 m. The glacier is the source of the Terskol River.
