Veshkaima

an urban-type settlement, the administrative center of Veshkaima Raion, Ulianovsk Oblast, RSFSR; rail-road station 107 km southeast of the city of Ulianovsk. Population, 4,100 (1970). There is a grain elevator. A textile-machine repair plant was under construction in 1971.
