Class B is effective against moderate fire exposure, does not readily carry or communicate fire, and affords a moderate degree of fire protection to the roof-deck. Class C is effective against light fire exposure, does not readily carry or communicate fire, and affords a slight degree of fire protection to the roof-deck.
