Location:2 miles southwest of Pekin along Manito Road.

Special Features:Lake was built on the floodplain of the Illinois River in 1971 byCommonwealth Edison Company as a cooling reservoir for a fossil-fuelpower plant. Approximately 60% of the area is open to waterfowlhunting, and the rest is maintained as a waterfowl rest area.
