Rosen method

Rosen method

A method of structural integration developed in the 1970s by German-American M Rosen, in which neuromuscular tension is viewed as a physical manifestation of repressed emotions; Rosen believed this repression results in holding patterns, which can translate into organic disease. The Rosen method uses gentle touch and verbalisation to draw the client’s attention to these holding patterns; awareness of the holding patterns is believed to be the key to their resolution or release.
