Activities:Camping, boating (non-motorized), canoeing, fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, motorcycle and ATV riding, hunting (with restrictions), cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, wildlife observation.
Special Features:Much of the activity at the park centers around the 35-acre BenedictPond. The 2,144-mile Appalachian National Scenic Trail (see separateentry in national trails section) intersects the forest's trails nearthe pond and offers spectacular views.
