Party Cell

the name of the primary party organization of the CPSU until 1934. The terms “Social Democratic cell” and “party cell” were coined in the prerevolutionary period. The Eighth All-Russian Conference of the RCP(B) in December 1919 was the first to include in the party Rules a section on the party cell.
