Raseiniai

a city and administrative center of Raseiniai Raion, Lithuanian SSR. Located on the Kaunas-Klaipeda Highway, 20 km from the Vidūklė railroad station and 187 km northwest of Vilnius. Raseiniai has a logging and timber distribution establishment, a butter factory, and clothing and brick-manufacturing industries.
