Srednii Egorlyk

a river in Rostov Oblast, RSFSR, a left tributary of the Zapadnyi Manych River of the Don River basin. The Srednii Egorlyk is 129 km long and drains an area of 2,360 sq km. It flows along the Kumo-Manych Depression and empties into the Proletarskoe Reservoir. It is fed mainly by snow. The mean flow rate 19 km from the mouth is 0.7 cu m/sec. The bed dries up for one or two months of the year. The city of Sal’sk is located on the Srednii Egorlyk.
