rotation diet

rotation diet

A weight-loss diet developed by Dr M Katahn, in which the individual “rotates” between extreme and less stringent dieting. It consists of a four-day period of 600 calories/day for women and 1200 calories/day for men, followed by four days of 900 calories (women) and 1500 calories (men), and finally four days of 1200 calories (women) and 1800 calories (men); this cycle is repeated until the desired weight is lost.
