Thunderbolt Bridge

A feature of Mac OS X starting with Mavericks (Version 10.9) that lets files be transferred between Mac computers via the Thunderbolt interface. Commonly used to migrate an older Mac to a newer one, file transfer via a Thunderbolt cable is much faster than Wi-Fi or Ethernet. See Thunderbolt, Ethernet and Wi-Fi.
