Raymond-Céstan syndrome

A neurologic syndrome attributed to a unilateral lesion—in particular a tumour—of the upper pons, clinically characterised by contralateral hemiplegia and hemianaesthesia, variably accompanied by ipsilateral facial paralysis, ipsilateral cerebellar hemisyndrome, nystagmus and conjugate deviation of the head and eyes to the side opposite the lesion, and paralysis of ocular movement towards the side of the lesion.
